The cutest little shop!

Place d'Aligre :
La Graineterie du Marché de specialiste jardinage & graines
8, place d'Aligre, 75012 Paris

Is this little store not the cutest? I fell in love as soon as I noticed it while walking across the square at Place d'Aligre. I was initially drawn to the numerous potted herbs at the entrance, which is exactly what I had been seeking. Although there are an abundance of flower shops in Paris there is not an abundance of herb plants ready for a tiny city garden. Inside I found everything that one needs for a window garden in the city, plus bins of rice, dried beans, dried herbs and spices. As you can see from the photos, there are old fashioned candies, goodies, canned goods and all types of miscellaneous items for the kitchen, home and garden.

Place d'Aligre has a delightful covered marché that is best on Saturday morning. I have been many times and I can not believe that I never walked across the square to investigate the numerous shops. This is one that you can not miss and is worth the effort to seek it out.
