New Year's in Paris is truly special. I spent it with a group of friends in the 15th arrondissement. We started with Champagne and foie gras at a friends apartment and then walked to le Café du Commerce at 51 rue du Commerce, 75015 Paris. It is a favorite parisian bistro that has been in operation since 1921 (with the same fabulous decor!) It has three stories with a large skylight in the middle that is opened in the summer. We had a multi-course extravagant meal with appropriate wines to compliment the food. To conclude the evening we made our way to the first floor where we danced the night away and brought in a new year! Bonne Année to all!
