La Traversée de Paris à la Nage

The Seine
Attention all swimmers! It has not been since 1905, that an organized swimming race has taken place in Paris in the Seine. There will be an Olympic distance race of 10k taking swimmers from the Josephine Baker pool to the Parc André Citroën. There will be a second 2.5k event that is called the "Open Paris Swim" that will launch from the foot of the Eiffel tower and terminate at Parc Andre Citroën.

The Swim Across Paris is being organized by Stephan Caron, Laurent Neuville and Harald Eltvedt. Hats off to their creativity and hard work for putting this unique and historic event in motion that is scheduled for 2 September 2012.
